Marines with Kilo Company, 3rd Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, observe a terrain model prior to a helicopter raid at Camp Pendleton, Calif., Oct. 1, 2018. The exercise consisted of rehearsals and operations to help the Marines and Sailors gain and sustain the knowledge and techniques necessary to conduct raids.
