ABILENE, Kansas (Oct. 12, 2018) – Command Master Chief Todd Mangin, command master chief of USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69), autographs photos of the ship for students at Dwight D. Eisenhower Elementary School. Mangin, along with the ship’s commanding officer, Capt. Kyle Higgins, and the two award winners of the General and President Eisenhower Leadership Awards, Lt. Blake Harpel and Chief Personnel Specialist Ralph Long, were in Abilene be recognized by the Eisenhower Foundation for their accomplishments. The weekend also involved a visit to Dwight D.
