The Coast Guard Cutter Heriberto Hernandez interdicted a 25-foot blue and while-hulled migrant boat with 16 migrants onboard Oct. 11, 2018 just off Mona Island, Puerto Rico. The Heriberto Hernandez returned 12 Dominicans and 2 Haitian migrants to Dominican authorities Oct. 14 , 2018, while 2 other Dominicans from the group are facing federal prosecution in Puerto Rico.
