181010-N-IY469-008 - Tarnisha Brown, Health Technician Audiology
Tarnisha Brown is the cornerstone of the team by serving as the primary supervisor of three mobile occupational hearing conservation audiology trucks that provide hearing conservation services to approximately 300 shore and ashore commands. In addition, Brown assisted the Navy and Marine Corps Public Health Center by meticulously correcting more than 1,800 patient records during a two-month DoD-wide Defense Occupational and Environmental Health Readiness System interruption. Brown went above and beyond to ensure annual hearing screenings were documented accurately and compliance was above minimum requirements. She is passionate about the Hearing Conservation Program and understands the importance of accurate medical records.
