Idaho Air National Guard 190th Fighter Squadron pilots worked with the 8th Squadron, 1st U.S. Cavalry Regiment, an active duty Army unit stationed at Joint Base Lewis-McChord near Tacoma, Washington. The Idaho pilots, flying the A-10 Thunderbolt II aircraft, helped them conduct their combined arms maneuver live-fire exercise for several weeks in September of 2018 at the Orchard Combat Training Center outside of Gowen Field, Boise, Idaho.
