Sgt. 1st Class Justin Reyes, 2nd Platoon, 57th Sapper Co. (Rough Terrain), 27th Engineer Battalion cuts through a guard rail using an exothermic cutting torch. Elements of the 27th Engineer Battalion are assisting the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in the recovery efforts on the Military Ocean Terminal Sunny Point, N.C., which was damaged by Hurricane Florence. The guard rail was twisted when the road under it was washed out by the storm.
