U.S. Army soldiers from 3rd Battalion, 82nd Field Artillery Regiment, Bravo Battery, 2-1 Cavalry Advise and Assist Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division, conduct a foot patrol in the city of Samarra, Iraq, Oct. 9, 2011. The patrol was directed towards the Mayors office to obtain permission to check on the recent progress of the rebuilding of the Al Asakara Mosque. First Cavalry Division is in Iraq in Support of Operation New Dawn.
