U.S. Army soldiers, of Mortar Platoon, 1st Battalion, 8th Cavalry Regiment, 2nd Advise and Assist Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division, set up their mounted mortar in a remote area on Contingency Operating Site Warhorse in the Diyala province, Iraq, Sept. 17, 2011. The soldiers are preparing to demonstrate to Iraqi army soldiers how to properly set up their mortars, get the coordinates of their target, and then load a round quickly and carefully.
