Cpl. Ethan Herrada, a data technician with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, conducts rope drills during a Force Fitness Program aboard the USS Wasp (LHD-1), off the coast of Okinawa, Japan, Sep. 6, 2018. Herrada, a native of Houston, graduated Foster High School June 2015; he enlisted September 2015. The Force Fitness Program was started in 2016 by the 37th Commandant of the Marine Corps with the purpose of teaching Marines injury prevention during physical fitness and proper recovery techniques.
