The Blue Angels perform during the San Francisco Fleet Week Air Show, Oct. 7, 2018. The Blue Angels team is the United States Navy’s flight demonstration squadron, with aviators from the Navy and Marines. The team was formed in 1946, making it the second oldest formal flying aerobatic team in the world. U.S. Marine Maj. Jeff Mullins flies the number three F/A-18 Hornet aircraft and Capt. Beau Mabery flies C-130T Hercules commonly know as "Fat Albert" operated by U.S. Marines. Fleet Week provides an opportunity for America’s public to meet their Navy and Marine Corps team. Fleet Week San Francisco highlights naval personnel, equipment, technology and capabilities, with an emphasis on humanitarian assistance and disaster relief. (Official Marine Corps Photo by Cpl.
