Badgett, a native of Roanoke, Texas, is a forward observer with 1st Brig., 5th ANGLICO, III MIG. 5th ANGLICO made up part of a team of opposing forces during Phantom Major, a training event which challenged upcoming infantry platoon commanders in the New Zealand Army to demonstrate confidence and capability leading their fellow soldiers.
