U.S. Customs and Border Protection Border Patrol Agents at El Paso sector perform non lethal training with Texas Guard service members from 3rd Battalion, 133rd Field Artillery Regiment deployed to the border region as part of the Joint Task Force Guardian Support mission. Sgt. Roberto Gonzales jumps back from a knife slashing CBP Agent Firma Pena during combatives class. Instructor Pena, 23-years on the force, enjoyed the enthusiasm and said, “These guys are really good participators, they don’t hesitate at all. I am really enjoying that part of it.” The training gives potential recruits a sneak peak to what a CBP recruit would go through, Sept. 26, 2018.
