U.S. Customs and Border Protection Border Patrol Agents at El Paso sector perform non lethal training with Texas Guard service members from 3rd Battalion, 133rd Field Artillery Regiment deployed to the border region as part of the Joint Task Force Guardian Support mission. The week of training includes combatives (hand-to-hand) and shoot-don't shoot scenarios with room and house-clearing skills building; not to mention a great recruitment tool. CBP Agent instructor Trevor Baize watches service members, Sgt. Roberto Gonzales and Pvt. 1st Class Joshua Soto practice a new take down move. The training gives a sneak peak to what a CBP recruit would go through, Sept. 2018.
