A Marine with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit’s Force Reconnaissance Platoon fast ropes out of a UH-1Y Huey helicopter on to the USS Green Bay (LPD 20) while underway in the East China Sea, Sept. 13, 2018. Fast roping allows Marines to quickly enter otherwise inaccessible locations via rope from above.
