U.S. Army Sgt. 1st Class Brian Bell, Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA), carries a case containing the possible remains of unidentified service members during an honorable carry, at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii, Sept. 29, 2018. The remains in the case, recently repatriated to the U.S. from Papua New Guinea, will be examined by forensic anthropologist and odontologists at DPAA’s skeletal laboratory where the process of identification will begin.
