Bruce Robie, 225th Support Squadron National Airspace System Defense program manager, stands at the end of the Third Burroughs Trail in Mount Rainier National Park, Washington, after running the 17-mile trail in four hours, Aug. 31, 2018, in preparation for the POW/MIA Remembrance Run on Joint Base Lewis-McChord. The trail ends at an altitude of 7,813 feet and consists of a gain and loss of 4,880-feet of elevation. Extreme athletics is not new to Robie who summited Mount Rainier in 2016 with a climbing team.
