Apaul Blanco, administration chief, Marine Corps Tactical Systems Support Activity, Marine Corps Systems Command kicks a football for distance during the Commanding Generals Cup (CG’s Cup) Punt, Pass, & Kick competition at Paige Field House at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton (MCB Camp Pendleton), California, Sept. 26, 2018. The CG’s Cup is an intramural sports program that was developed to give service members from various units across MCB Camp Pendleton an opportunity to compete in organized sporting events in order to promote combat readiness, teamwork and esprit de corps. The CG’s cup also allows service members to earn points for their units, resulting in prizes and awards that are presented to the top-earning units at the conclusion of the CG’s Cup season.
