U.S. Army Sgt. Lia Wright, currently assigned to NATO's ISAF Joint Command, pushes her way through a 400-meter run after completing a 400-meter row during the Mission Afghanistan Games at the U.S. Embassy in Kabul Oct. 21. This run was part of workout of the Day 2, the "Hindu Kush Lung Krusher," which involved the two-person teams working together to complete the row, run and five deadlifts for two rotations. Wright, who is originally assigned to the Allied Rapid Reaction Corps in Innsworth, U.K., went on to win the women's division with her partner, Courtney Glass. The embassy played host to military and civilians deployed in and around the Kabul area to promote both the sport of CrossFit and overall physical fitness.
