JOINT BASE LEWIS-MCCHORD, Washington – Sgt. Maj. Christopher King (right), the senior noncommissioned officer of B Company, 2nd Battalion, 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne), assists with the unveiling of a memorial plaque for the late Sgt. Maj. Walter Hetzler on September 21, during a dedication ceremony. The 2nd battalion family honored Hetzler, a former B Company sergeant major, by dedicating a section of B Company as Hetzler Hall for his legacy of leadership in 1st Group during his 31 year career.
