180925-N-WR252-001 ROTA, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (Sept. 25, 2018) A Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) provided generator sits on a pier after being unloaded from a boat in Rota, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI). The generator is being installed at the Rota medical clinic for use as backup power following Typhoon Mangkhut. Seabees from the 30th Naval Construction Regiment and Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 1 will install the generator at the clinic. Service members from Indo-Pacific Command are providing Department of Defense support to FEMA-led efforts to aid local and civilian authorities in Guam and CNMI for Typhoon Mangkhut recovery.
