Naval Air Facility Misawa Commanding Officer Capt. Christopher Rodeman (left) and Chief Petty Officer Proceso Canlas, culinary specialist, cut a ribbon signifying the completion of refurbishments at NAF Misawa's Navy Gateway Inns and Suites here. Misawa's Navy Gateway Inns and Suites completed a $1.7-million "Whole-Room Concept" project standardizing the lodging facility with other Navy Gateway Inns and Suites entities around the fleet. In total, 106 single rooms, four lounges, two kitchens and two break rooms were modernized and upgraded.
