Senior Airman Lindsey McKee, a medical technician with the 15th Medical Group (MDG) family health clinic, briefs Lt. Gen. Dorothy Hogg, Air Force Surgeon General, on the story of Army Air Corps 1st Lt. William Schick Sep. 13, 2018, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii. Schick was injured in the Dec. 7, 1941, attack on Oahu and succumbed to his injuries after allowing more critical patients to be treated before him, making Schick the first doctor killed in WWII.
