Master Sgt. John Gray, 184th Intelligence Wing, McConnell Air Force Base, Kansas, monitors video feeds from Civil Air Patrol aircraft operating in North and South Carolina during disaster response operations involved with Hurricane Florence, Sep. 24. Hurricane Florence slammed into the Carolinas in mid-September, leaving a path of destruction, flooded roads and blocked highways. Gray analyzed the imagery and created products that inform decision-makers in the affected areas about best routes to take when delivering supplies or evacuating people. In addition to Gray, about 12 other Kansas Air National Guardsmen volunteered to help with the imagery analysis mission. (Air National Guard photo by Master Sgt. Matt McCoy)
