A fire truck from Boiling Spring Lakes Fire Rescue in North Carolina (N.C.) and the N.C. Air National Guard, wait to respond to an emergency call Sept. 18, 2018. Firefighters from the 145th Airlift Wing Fire Rescue, N.C. Air National Guard were flown in by helicopter to help provide relief to the local fire department in Boiling Spring Lakes. Hurricane Florence was one of the largest storms to hit the Carolinas in years and ignited a massive response from emergency services.
