Firefighters from Boiling Spring Lakes Fire Rescue in North Carolina (N.C.) respond to a high water rescue emergency call and push a stalled vehicle out of a flooded road caused by Hurricane Florence Sept. 18, 2018. Hurricane Florence was one of the largest storms to hit the Carolinas in years and ignited a massive response from emergency services. Massive flooding and loss of electricity have impacted many towns throughout Eastern N.C. and local residents will have a long road to recovery.
