EAST CHINA SEA (Sept. 22, 2018) - An MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter assigned to the “Island Knights” of Helicopter Sealift Squadron 25 flies over Sailors and Marines on the flight deck of the amphibious assault ship USS Wasp (LHD 1) as they transport food and supplies during a replenishment at sea with the dry cargo and ammunition ship USNS Washington Chambers (T-AKE). Wasp, flagship of the Wasp Expeditionary Strike Group, with embarked 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, is operating in the Indo-Pacific region to enhance interoperability with partners and serve as a ready-response force for any type of contingency.
