    An Afghan Uniformed Police patrolman and Marines from Charlie Company, 1st Battalion, 9th Marine Regiment, patrol through a creek adjacent to the Helmand River in Nawa district, Helmand province. Patrols sometimes must ford through water during security checks in the area.
