VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (Sept. 18, 2018) Chief Information System Technician LeSonya Thomas, from Augusta, Georgia, assigned to USS Gerald R. Ford’s (CVN 78) combat systems department, is pinned to the rank of chief petty officer by her son during a pinning ceremony held at the Sandler Center for the Performing Arts.
