VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (Sept. 18, 2018) Chief Machinist’s Mate Gilbert Laguerre, from Port-de-Paix, Haiti, assigned to USS Gerald R. Ford’s (CVN 78) engineering department, is pinned to the rank of chief petty officer by his family during a pinning ceremony held at the Sandler Center for the Performing Arts.
