Marine Corps Gen. John R. Allen, commander of NATO and International Security Assistance Force troops in Afghanistan, re-enlisted fellow Marine Sgt. David Filtz at the ISAF Headquarters Building in Kabul, Afghanistan, Oct. 19, 2011. Filtz is deployed from 10th Marines, Camp LeJeune, N.C., and is a native of Layton, Utah. During the ceremony, Allen spoke about the significance of serving in the U.S. armed forces and committing yourself to set of principles.
