(Sept. 19, 2018) A Sailor talks to a local industry partner and Bill Kelly, a mine countermeasure small boat program manager, about maintenance requirements for the nine-meter rigid inflatable boat used by Navy Explosive Ordnance Technicians during the small boat industry day hosted by Southwest Regional Maintenance Center and Navy Expeditionary Combat Command. The purpose of the industry day was to eliminate barriers for regional industry partners by presenting an opportunity for industry base professionals to see the boats first hand, ask questions and increase understanding of Navy requirements for maintenance, overhaul, and other commercial services.
