New Zealand Army soldier Lance Bombardier Liam Philips and U.S. Marines ride in a Mercedes Benz Unimog Troop Transport during Exercise Joint Assault Signals Company Black, Waiouru Training Area, New Zealand, Sep. 11, 2018. Philips, a native of Wanganui, New Zealand, is a junior ack with 161 Battery, 16th Field Regiment. The Marines are radio operators and forward observers with 1st Brigade, 5th Air Naval Gunfire Liaison Company, III Marine Expeditionary Force Information Group.
