GARDEN CITY, New York (Sept. 14, 2018) Chief Gas Turbine Systems Technician (Technical) Delando Beckford, a native of Brooklyn, New York and graduate from FDNY High School for Fire and Life Safety, passing through the ceremonial sideboys after having his new chief anchors and combo cover placed on him during a chief petty officer pinning ceremony for Navy Recruiting District New York at the Cradle of Aviation Museum. Beckford had his chief anchors pinned on his left and right collar during the promotion ceremony by his wife, children and father.
