Sgt. Steven Stafford, an airframe mechanic with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 561 and a Sparks, Nev., native, holds a power cord to a fire extinguisher aboard Marine Corps Air Station Miramar Oct. 17. Stafford, along with other VMM-561 Marines, practiced the unit’s safe maintenance procedures as they troubleshot an MV-22B Osprey after replacing a back-up hydraulic power drive unit.
