Numerous artifacts are shown on display Sept. 11, 2015, at the Fort McCoy Commemorative Area. The Commemorative Area highlights more than a century of history at the installation and comprises the History Center, Veteran’s Memorial Plaza, Equipment Park, and five 1940s-era military buildings set up in historical design as they were during World War II.
