Vincent Acevedo, Combined Joint Task Force-1 personal security officer, from Grant, Fla.; and U.S Army Staff Sgt. Matthew Holmes, 515 Eng. Company squad leader, from Strafford, Mo. The 515th Eng. Company earned route clearance patrol of the month and was presented a plaque from TF Sword, who is in charge of all engineer operations in the Northern Engineer Region of Afghanistan. Command Sgt. Maj. David Clark, TF Sword command sergeant major from Knoxville Tenn., and Command Sgt. Major Isaia Vimoto, Combined Joint Task Force-1 command sergeant major, hailing from American Samoa, also accompanied them on a patrol Sept. 13.
