180915-N-HG389-0010 ATLANTIC OCEAN (Sep. 15, 2018) Marines perform maintenance on a UH-1Y Venom helicopter assigned to the “Black Knights” of Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 264 (Reinforced) on the flight deck of amphibious transport dock ship USS Arlington (LPD 24). U.S. Naval Forces Northern Command deployed Arlington, along with embarked elements of the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit and the Expeditionary Strike Group 2 command element, to be positioned to provide Defense Support to Civil Authorities from the sea in response to Hurricane Florence, should support be requested.
