Staff Sgt. Jarvis Rodriguez, a drill instructor with 1st Recruit Training Battalion, Alpha Company, encourages students to run faster during a visit to Holmes Elementary School as part of the Partnership in Education Program Tuesday. The PIE program consists of Marine volunteers visiting the school every other Tuesday to participate in physical educations classes in an effort to provide the students with positive role models.
