Chief Yeoman Jonathan Torres, from Centennial, Colo., receives his chief collar devices during a chief pinning ceremony on the flight deck of the Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyer USS Milius (DDG 69). The ceremony is part of a long-standing tradition that honors and recognizes the years of hard work, service and leadership of dedicated Sailors in the Navy. Milius is forward-deployed to the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations in support of security and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
