2nd Lt. Jacob Cavanaugh, and native of Cloquet, Minn, receives the 3rd place trophy for the 29 and under male group from the Camp Buehring, Kuwait commander Lt. Col. Jimmy Thomas. Seventeen soldiers from the Brigade Special Troops Battalion and Heavy Brigade Combat Team, Minnesota National Guard were up well before the sun on the morning of Oct. 2, 2011 to make the two hour journey from Camp Arifjan to Camp Buehring, Kuwait to run the Army Ten Miler. Camp Buehring is one of at least 18 shadow races conducted around the world of the largest Army Ten Miler held in Washington D.C.
