The House’s visited the Agency to send off the remains of their loved one U.S. Marine Corps Capt. John A. House II, who paid the ultimate sacrifice June 30, 1967, when his helicopter went down during a reconnaissance mission over South Vietnam. House’s remains will be transported to Arlington National Cemetery, Virginia, where he will be buried with full military honors after 51 years MIA. DPAA conducts global search, recovery and laboratory operations to provide the fullest possible accounting for our missing personnel to their families and the nation.
