Department of the Army Best Warrior Competition 2011 competitor Spc. Blaise Corbin seals his M40A1 protective gas mask while conducting pre-combat checks and inspections of his combat equipment in the Post Field House on Fort Lee, Va., Oct. 5. The PCCs and PCIs were followed with various familiarization events covering operation of Defense Advanced GPS Receivers ("Daggers"), Humvee egress training, urban terrain dismounted training; and clearing, disassembling, reassembling, and functions checks for the M9 Pistol, M16A2 Rifle, M249 Squad Automatic Weapon, and .50-caliber rifle.
