Chief of Naval Operations (CNO) Adm. Mike Mullen speaks with gold star flag recipient families during a private breakfast in Chicago on May 26, 2007. Since World War I, family members of deceased veterans have hung a gold star in their windows to honor their fallen loved ones. Mayor Richard Daley and Adm. Mullen will present Chicago area family members with their Gold Star flags during a wreath laying ceremony at the Daley Plaza. Adm.
