A Marine with Marine Barracks Washington D.C. fires rounds from an M16A4 during a live-fire training exercise for the Fire Team Leaders Course at Marine Corps Base Quantico, Va., Sept. 10, 2018. The course was comprised of multiple live-fire events utilizing numerous weapons systems, patrols and defensive and offensive drills. It is a course designed to strengthen small unit leadership amongst the Marines to prepare them for the Fleet Marine Forces, while focusing on refining their infantry skills.
