FLEET ACTIVITIES YOKOSUKA, Japan (Sept. 11, 2018) Capt. Richard Dromerhauser, Commander, Naval Surface Group Western Pacific, left, and Richard Henderson, Navy Region Japan Fire Department Chief, lead a formation of chief petty officer and chief selects during a September 11th memorial ceremony marking the 17th anniversary of the terrorist attacks. Dozens of chief petty officers and selectees from USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19), U.S. 7th Fleet, Commander, Submarine Group 7, Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka and Commander, Naval Surface Group Western Pacific participated in the memorial ceremony which included wreath-laying and first-hand accounts.
