A Marine Corps MV-22 Osprey with Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron 161 demonstrates its plane capabilities during the San Francisco Fleet Week Air Show, Oct. 8. The Osprey is a unique aircraft, which can take off, move and land like a helicopter, but has a top speed of more than 300 miles per hour. This capability makes it versatile in moving troops or supplies in to remote areas without landing strips while conducting long-range rescue missions in less time than a regular helicopter.
