180831-N-IC246-0045 ATLANTIC OCEAN (Aug. 31, 2018) The Phalanx close-in weapons system (CIWS) aboard the guided-missile destroyer USS Forrest Sherman (DDG 98) as part of a live fire gunnery exercise. Forrest Sherman is currently deployed as part of the Harry S. Truman Carrier Strike Group. Harry S. Truman will continue its deployment by conducting sustainment operations in the Atlantic.
