180905-N-NT795-015 SAN DIEGO (Sept. 5, 2018) Chief petty officers (CPO) and CPO selectees assigned to Coastal Riverine Group (CRG) 1 conducted combat rubber raiding craft (CRRC) launch and recovery training onboard Mark VI patrol boat as part of CPO initiation provided by CRG 1 Training and Evaluation Unit. CPO initiation is a professional education and training environment that starts when the announcement message is released, and time-honored tradition focused on the team/individuals as leaders of integrity, accountability, initiative and toughness. CRG provides a core capability to defend designated high value assets throughout the green and blue-water environment and providing deployable AFP worldwide in an integrated, joint and combined theater of operations.
