Park Tech Sandy Hattan planned to install a pollinator garden at the Millcreek and Bennington Lake Project site in Walla Walla, Washington. She worked with Whitman College, to bring in student volunteers like team lead Ellen that were a part of the Summer Community Out-Reach Excursion or SCORE program. Together they laid down geotextile for a path into the garden and cleaned up a small area of land for a future pollinator garden.
