ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates (Aug. 28, 2018) – A participant from the United Arab Emirates discusses threats to the Middle East with U.S. Marine Corps Brig. Gen. Matthew G. Trollinger, commander of Naval Amphibious Force, Task Force 51/5th Marine Expeditionary Brigade, during the 2018 Regional Marine Symposium. The Regional Marine Symposium is the exclusive forum for regional cooperation amongst marine and naval infantry forces that focuses on improving the alignment of mission sets to regional threats in order to advance U.S. Central Command and Marine Corps Forces Central Command security cooperation objectives.
